Research Interests
- Qualitative research on: trauma, incest, mental illness, non-offending mothers of sexually abused children, cultural competence and PTSD, domestic violence, secondary trauma and ethnicity, psychoanalytic theory, professionals’ constructions of clients, the social process of treatment planning in agency practice, planning for sustainability and succession in grassroots agencies serving Muslim communities.
