My research focuses on developing a rigorous computational account of the neurocognitive mechanisms through which we learn about other people, make social predictions, and are influenced by social biases.
My research program at Adelphi has three foci:
- Social bias formation, updating, and utilization
- Learning about and representing other people
- Integrating group and individual social representations
Interests:
- Social Neuroscience
- Implicit Bias
- fMRI
- Learning and Decision Making
- Computational Modeling
Research:
- Implicit attitude formation, updating, and utilization
- Learning about and representing other people
- Characterizing the computational nature of variation in social learning and decision-making
