My research focuses broadly on diversity and inclusion within sport, recreation, and leisure spaces. Using a critical social justice lens, this work explores the intersectional experiences of diverse identities within hegemonic and counter-hegemonic spaces for leisure, sport, and recreation. Secondary lines of research focus on sport and recreation-based youth development for underserved populations, recreational sports management, and critical pedagogy.
