Abstract
Four educators tell stories about their teaching in Vietnam using the theme of "insiders" & "outsiders" & a developmental framework, comprising preparation, planning, & beginnings. The training process is explored, including discussion of collaboration with participants, bridging the insider-outsider barrier, reciprocal process of learning, & participants' evaluation of the experience. Five key processes that facilitated the teaching effort include tuning-in, reframing, working from participant experiences, openness, & egalitarian approach to co-trainer & trainees. 4 References.
