Abstract
About the Clazomenian colonization in Thrace in the 7th and 6th centuries BC, through Anthropological Archaeology. The archaeo-anthropological data based on the study of the human skeletal material from excavations in the archaic cemetery of Klazomenia, excavation sector "K" in Abdira are presented. The demographic and epidemiological data of this sample of the population, as supported by the taphonomic, archaeometric, natural anthropological and paleopathological research, provide the most important results in the field of Anthropological Archaeology, contributing, in combination with the purely archaeological and surviving historical sources, to the elucidation of many questions about the experiences of the Clazomenian colonists in Thrace and at the same time offering a fertile field for further reflection and interpretation regarding the Archaic years in Abdira.
