Grandparents Mothers Self-help groups
The implementation process of the Grandmothers As Mothers Again (GAMA) support groups is a cautionary but optimistic story for administrators and practitioners who guide new programs to institutionalization. The story of GAMA is used to outline four keys to the success of a program--make the program critical, integral, personal and responsible.
