For decades, there has been a push for physical education (PE) teachers to incorporate technology into their PE classrooms. Technology integration has been presented as a way to better engage students in classes, more effectively assess students' learning, and as an option to provide information to students to which they might not otherwise have access. Although technology use in PE has been encouraged for decades, most PE teachers have been slow to adopt this within their classrooms consistently. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, however, abruptly forced teachers to utilise technology to deliver PE instruction. Many teachers gained valuable technology integration skills that they continue to use in their teaching. This chapter will summarise the literature on teachers' and teacher educators' preparedness and utilisation of technology in their PE classes. Additionally, suggestions on how to continue using technology within PE in the future will be offered. An emphasis will be placed on how the pandemic influenced teachers' experiences, decisions and future plans regarding the use of technology within PE and teacher education programmes.
