Abstract

Chemistry Molecules--Models Research Undergraduates
Chemistry is much less abstract and much easier to learn thanks to molecular models. The Augmented Reality (AR) Chemistry Project is an interdisciplinary, undergraduate research experience aimed at developing technology that integrates AR-based molecular models into the chemistry curriculum. A summary of the technology developed as a result of this research experience, and the impact the research experience has had on undergraduate researchers, is presented.
